KSCP
Kirklees Safer Communities Partnership brings a range of different organisations together to help reduce crime disorder, substance misuse and the fear of crime.  Partners include organisations such as Kirklees Council, West Yorkshire Police, Primary Care Trusts, Probation Service and the Fire Authority.
Adfam
"Adfam is a national charity working with families affected by drugs and alcohol. Alcohol Concern

Drug Sense
Kirklees-based Drug Sense, overall aim is to help reduce the harm to young people, their families and communities from illegal drug, alcohol and solvent use. Drug Sense is part of the Lifeline Project, a registered charity.

Lifeline
In 1971 the Lifeline Project opened a daycentre for drug users in Manchester . Since its foundation Lifeline has grown and developed, and now works in a diverse range of settings across the UK . Our purpose is to relieve poverty, sickness and distress among those persons affected by addiction to drugs of any kind, and to educate the public on matters relating to drug misuse.

National Treatment Agency for Substance Misuse (NTA)
"The National Treatment Agency for Substance Misuse is the new special health authority, established by government in 2001, with a remit to increase the availability, capacity and effectiveness of treatment for substance misuse in England . The NTA is working with central government, Drug Action Teams, service providers and commissioners, users and carers, research, training and academic institutions to improve the commissioning of drug treatment services, promote evidence-based practice, and improve the performance of treatment providers and commissioners."
